Anatomy and physiology is a course that explores the structure and function of the human body. Students will learn about the different systems of the body, including the skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. They will also learn about the cells, tissues, and organs that make up each system and how they work together to maintain homeostasis in the body.

In this course, students will have the opportunity to study and understand the anatomy and physiology of the human body at the microscopic and macroscopic levels. They will learn about the different types of cells and tissues that make up the body and how they work together to form organs and systems. Students will also learn about the various organ systems in the body and how they function to maintain homeostasis. This includes studying the skeletal system and its role in providing support and protection for the body, the muscular system and its role in movement and support, the nervous system and its role in communication and control, the cardiovascular system and its role in circulating blood and oxygen throughout the body, the respiratory system and its role in exchanging gases, the digestive system and its role in breaking down and absorbing nutrients, the urinary system and its role in filtering and eliminating waste, and the reproductive system and its role in reproducing and maintaining the species.
